About Us

We are the oldest and best pawn shop in the Valley since 1954. We grant loans against collateral, offer onsite appraisals, sell new and pre-owned merchandise, design and create custom jewelry and repair watches and jewelry.

Traders Loan and Jewelry is known as “ the people’s bank” because we are a non-recourse lender, meaning we don’t report you to credit bureaus due to loan defaults; loans are based on the item, not the person.

We help people of every socio-economic level, whether they need money for closing costs on their home or to cover payroll for their business, or if they need cash for others reasons. We are proud to have served our community for over 60 years and we will continue to do so.

Pawn shops date back to ancient times and are one of the earliest lending institutions. In the early part of the last century Pawnbroking was regarded as the main source of consumer credit. Today, Pawnbroking plays a vital role among people who need loans for short periods of time. These types of loans are too costly for banks to make. Traders Loan and Jewelry makes collateralized loans based on a percentage of the current market value. We do not charge any points, credit reporting fees, or appraisal fees like other lending institutions do. Most loans are made confidentially within minutes. Today’s pawnbroker is regulated by the State of California and Federal government, and all transactions are monitored by law enforcement.

Because we are also a jewelry store, we have a unique selection of high quality watches, precious gems, wedding bands and other stunning jewelry. We sell these at a fraction of retail and much of our jewelry is new.

Traders Loan and Jewelry is a proud member of The California Pawnbrokers Association, National Pawnbrokers Association, Better Business Bureau, Jewelers Board of Trade, West Valley Boosters, West Valley Warner Center Chamber of Commerce and The California Merchants Safety Association and voted as The Los Angeles Daily News’ best pawn shop by their readers over and over again.
